    Wheat over white?

I went shopping today and decided to switch to wheat bread over white bread. But there seems to be no nutritional difference between the two except that the wheat has added sugars and the white does not. What are the benefits of wheat bread over white bread?

all bread is made form wheat, i would say the only difference is the label. stop eating bread, theres better carb sources. brown rice, whole meal pasta, potatoes etc.

White bread is a completely processed refined product. The process basically strips all the nutrients out of it. All breads (no matter how good, wheat, multi grain, etc) are processed to some degree, but 'white' bread is the ultimate. It's pretty useless in terms of nutrition.
