    Instant oats vs Regular oats

I've always use instant oats because of convenience, but I occasionally here regular oats are better. Does anyone no why this is or if it's even true?

No difference. Instant oats are 'instant' simply because they are rolled/crushed, therefore they cook much faster.

I use both - whole when I make them hot, and 'quick oats' when I drink em' raw in a shake.
