Protein farts! Anybody got any tricks?

Sorry to bring up such an unglamorous topic, but I was just wondering if anybody had any tricks for dealing w/ the less pleasant side effect of a high protein diet.

    How is your fiber intake?

Personally, even when my protein intake is in the 350-400g/day range, I don't have much gas as long as I get enough veggies in throughout the day.

Water + Potassium intake should alleviate the issue.. Protein is one of those complex organic compounds, which require tons of water for the body to metabolize.. The potassium serves as a form of enzyme to speed up the process and serves as an electrolyte as well.. Both combined will also prevent dehydration, so lots of H2O man and a banana here and there or any serve of veggies of your like rich in potassium!

Digestive enzymes can help with breaking down macronutrients. Betaine hydrochloride can help to stimulate natural pepsin production (digestive enzyme responsible for breaking down proteins).
