    best post workout meal-late evening

hi..i generally always hit the gym at 8-8.30pm. Just wondering what is the best post-work out meal........up to this i have being staying with a double protein shake (whey isolate) 50g of protein...plus 5-6 egg white scrambled eggs and 1 slice of toast or tuna salad. Is that ok?

go with oats in your shake. u dont want to be having many simple carbs at night, what u have looks fine. do u have another meal b4 bed though? should have a slow absorbing proteins ource b4 bed, eggs and whey only take about 3 hours for complete absorbtion.

What time are you out of the gym and what time do you go to bed? As said above, I think the main thing would be to avoid simple carbs that late at night.
