    Protein Bars or Protein Shakes ?

    silly question, but which u one do prefer most, shakes or bars, in terms of what u can offord or get more out of it ..and why?

    Shakes - usually less crap in them than the bars. Generally less expensive as well. Would prefer real food whenever possible however.

    good to know ur prefrence....think am on the opposite side of the preference.

    From a nutrition standpoint they are not even comparable 99% of the time. Powders are far superior to bars not to mention cheaper as well.

    Agreed. Protein Bars are for emergency purposes only. If you compare the ingredients by the way to your average chocolate bar you will notice that protein bars are: 40% identical to chocolate bars, 40% of the ingredients I guarantee you have no clue what they are unless your a bio/chem major, and the other 20% are universal to all protein bars (Nuts, some sort of Nut Butter and a Whey blend).
