    Cheaters club only

I have one cheat meal on a Friday night and the rest of the week diet strictly. I never have more than one cheat meal a week but sometimes I get tempted.

Just wondering what you guys do in regards to cheat meals/half day/day??

I personally dont have a specified cheat meal/day, i just go as long as i can until i give in. Sometimes this can be 2-3 weeks, but normally around a week. I think doing it this way elliminates thoughts like "cheat meal is tomorrow morning, so tonight wont hurt aswell."

    I might add im on a 2000cal keto-type diet.

I have also found that one cheat meal a week works best for me. If I have a cheat day I consume like 5000+ bad calories and practically waste my whole week of dieting.

I can't understand how people eat clean for 90% of the time and then can go straight to terrible food. Like now that I eat extremely clean, huge fatty foods sound gross to me. Not a big fan of food in the first place though... But I still don't get it. I mean, if you go to mexico or out of your area you can get the shits just from different minerals in the water. So how can you go from healthy to shitty without any repercussions?

So are u saying you never cheat? If you've dieted for so long and you have a good state of mind I guess you can do it. However for me it's more like a reward I guess for working hard during the week...

I ate ice cream last night...and it was frickin' awesome. I don't usually do cheat meals, but sometimes I will do entire cheat weeks where I lighten up on my workout intensity and have a really loose diet. It keeps me from going insane.

My diet is good for the first 3 meals of the day then it goes downhill a little. I guess you could say i cheat on a daily basis as my pre workout meal for the last 2 weeks has been a peanut butter and banana sandwich on whole wheat bread w/ a mountain dew or rock star drink. But i'm good after my workouts as i have a salad w/ 2 cans of tuna or chicken followed up an hour later w/ cottage cheese. Sometimes substitute the sandwich for a snickers bar.

what hes saying is his cheat meal( assuming he does cheat) is not as extreme as others. where his cheat might be a bowl of cereal as another persons would be a large pizza

I suppose before your workout isn't so bad because your going to burn a lot of cals while you workout. Although don't u find having the Rockstar which is full of sugar gives u a big high but brings u down really fast aswell? Do u ever u Pre workouts like ja3ked or no explode?

Congratulations you know alot about 1 single item on McDonalds Breakfast Menu, which is not available in the Middle East. I eat 1,000,000 calories a day, 1900g of protein, 2000g carbs, and 9g of fat daily. Dud who the hell cares how many calories I consume daily.

Whats your point with this thread? You asked what was our cheat meal, and now you are criticizing me for it. Look if you cant accept the fact I eat McDonalds everyday, you do not need to ask what our cheat meals are. I bet your a vegan!!!!!!!!!

No I asked how many cheat meals or meal you have a week and when, at least read the thread champ. Then in so many words I asked how u see good results without a proper diet. Wasn't having a go at you simply asking and you responded arrogantly. Maybe u have some anger issues or something else that's troubling you in your life but please don't bring it to my thread. Once again I never asked what you or anyone else eats for there cheat meal. FYI read the thread before u type. Thanks champ

Hypocrite no. You might want to dust of the old dictionary and look that one up mate. I don't cheat 5 days a week like you and trust me my pizza doesn't have even a quater of the ingredients as your McDonalds does. Therefore I'm nothing like you.

p.s. Don't think admin will be closing this thread :-)

I eat clean most of the time. I am a hard gainer and don't gain much fat so I could eat a whole pizza and it would be ok. So occasionally I eat all out cheat meals. I can eat a donut or something here or there. But I'm saying idk how people go from being good all week to eating a terrible meal. I mean, its an overload of fats and preservatives I just don't get how it stays appealing. Don't you just feel like shit afterwards for like 3 hours?

I used to eat mcdonalds every single day for multiple meals, but now that I am not accustomed to eating that type of food its really hard to do. Nobody feels the same way? I prefer to eat clean.

If I post I eat McDonalds 3 times a day 7 days a week, who gives a shit. Are you going to come to Kuwait and cook my breakfast for me every morning? If not, let it go, and I am not your "MATE" that shlt is for UK Muscle not here.

Twist you know good and well some people post threads just trying to assess what everyone is doing, this guy is the type who makes a thread to criticize people.

Il call them cheat meals along with everyone else here. Now im not talking about you here, but if someone was strictly dieting then having one meal a week that doesnt meet there daily macro's or is blown out, something sweet or whatever they crave we call it a cheat meal. Because u are cheating on your diet. I never said i cared what u ate and i still dont care, simply asking how you see good results on a diet like that. Obviosly you have no place in this thread or this forum to be honest. Like twist said posting that you eat McDonalds 5 times a week in the DIET forum was bound to have a question mark over it.

BTW im from Aus not UK

Trust me i really dont care enough about you to make a thread just to see what your doing. More to the point iv never seen someone make a thread to check up on other people. Nice try though. Maybe get some sleep and try to come up with something better tomorrow OR just stop comenting altogether.

I feel like crap when I go for super bad food. So...I tend to stay away. It's why my cheat is like a good restaurant burger with yam fries...and maybe ice cream. Other than that...the sodium and crap that stays with me is for a few days, so one "semi" cheat...and ice cream for me

I guess everyone is different and has different definitions of cheat meals/ when they have them. Over time though I think you learn more and with that Knoweledge become more stricter on your diet because you know the effects of not eating right. So you may say you have two cheat meals a day, it may be cheating to you but to the average gym guy it seems like your not, if that makes sense somehow, lol...

    Thanks for the replies guys

Yeah, the Rockstar gives me a little energy, but i like em cause i get them 2 for 3.00. I don't really feel a crash afterwards though. Maybe it's because i used to eat Ma Huang like candy and maybe i have a high tolerence for that stuff. No, i rarely buy any of those drinks or bars simply because i've spent literally thousands of dollars on the stuff in the past, and as we all know, eating healthy is expensive enough without the additional drinks and bars. But if a person can afford it more power to them.
But i will be cheating all this weekend. Damn 4th of July....

i do a cheat day... sounds weird, but during the week if you crave something write it down.. that way you are not saying no, you are saying not yet, wait til friday..

then on friday youll end up changing your mind..

after 6 weeks i've found that my cheat day has changed to a small cheat, almost not enough to keep me from flipping into starvation mode..

Yeah your right dieting is exspensive enough without all the other supps that go with it. I still buy them but I'm only an apprentice so it is a bit of a struggle. But worth it for me anyways... Im from aus but i was in hawaii a couple of years ago for July 4th, you guys party hard. Loved it

Yeah that's a good idea, might give it a go. It's funny but lately sometimes when it gets to that time of the week to have my cheat meal I start thinking should I or shouldn't I whereas during the week I'm like yep Friday it's on. You and me cheat meal, lol...

Had my cheat meal last night. Got drunk off rum and pineapple juice, then ate about 2 pieces of deep dish mazzios pepperoni pizza, then 6 pieces of cheese thin crust. Had a chocolate jello pudding too. Felt good!

I hate the aftermath of a cheat meal. I waited until my birthday for my first cheat meal - entire homemade carrot cake slathered in icing. Ate that bad boy in like 6 hours. Did an extra 3 hours of cardio though that week to offset the problems. Other than that, I might eat like 1 piece of fruit or a pair of eggs as a cheat meal for the week. The 100-200 calories extra won't really make a different in my opinion. Other than that, no cravings or desire. Also, I feel BCAA's help curve my cravings, but that just may be because I use to drink a lot of juice. Since I started taking BCAA's and self-flavoring my water I never crave juice, and just a principle of "Mind Over Matter" for everything else.

Had my first real cheat meal in 2 years last Friday. Went thru the drive thru at wendys and had a single burger and a handful of fries. Don't feel to guilty since I been working 10 hours a day in 110-117 degree heat doing physical labor. Think my body could have used the extra cals to be honest.

I'm not sure what set you off, I don't think the OP was looking to start anything or criticize anybody. You can't be on a BBing forum, mention that you eat McDonalds 5 days a week, and expect not to catch some shit. IMO, a cheat meal or even a cheat day is one thing; eating McDonalds as part of your regular daily routine is something all together different. To each his own; if you eat that way and are happy with your body, more power to you. But please don't come on here talking about how McDonald's breakfasts are g2g. They're most certainly not g2g for anybody serious about building the best body they can build. They ARE g2g as a cheat meal, which shouldn't be a daily thing anyway IMHO.

This is what i've just started doing!! I don't do a weekly cheat, more like monthly, so my list tends to be pretty large, lol, but at least I have a nice 'menu' to choose from when cheat time comes around. This definitely works, it's mostly mental because as stated you're not telling yourself "no", you're simply postponing/planning for another time.
