    Question Need help with diet!!!

9am- Ham cheese sandwich, muesli bar and can of tuna
12am-LUNCH: This meal is always different due to working on site:
Either 2-3 pieces of chicken crumbed
    Steak sandwich, egg,lettuce,mayo,onion,cheese,bacon
2x roast beef sandwich with onion and tomato
Always have a piece of fruit with these meals
2.30pm- Another can of tuna and muesli bar
4.30pm- Baked beans 1-2 eggs and a piece of toast
5pm- tsp of Creatine and Gluetamine and half a shake before training
    TRAIN
7pm- Shake and can of tuna
7.30 dinner is always differnt varies from pizza, roast, steak, chicken snitzel pasta normally fairly healthy thou
9.30pm Glass of milk before bed

I am asking for advice of getting my diet sorted out. I have been training for about 8 months now and have still got A LOT to learn.
I do struggle to put on weight I started out at 62kgs and now am at 67-68 with no fat increase at all. I know a have a very fast metablism and no matter what I eat I seem to have slowed right down in stacking any sort of weight on.
I train 4-5 times a week and play basketball once - twice a week.

Any help would me much appreciated for what I should change/ditch or add to what i currentley eat.

    Cheers again!

You need better food choices all together. Double your protein consumption, add some good carbs in there, add veggies, and throw out every meal and replace it with a better one. Pizza and ham and cheese sandwich really? You need much better choices in food. Look at other threads in here.

For body composition it really doesn't matter if it's a pizza he's eating or chicken and broccoli.

Figure out your required calorie intake and macronutrient ratio to maximize your gains and eat whatever you want IIFYM (if it fits your macros).

Ahhh, what more can I expect from broscientists like yourselves. Sucks to know that 50 years of bodybuilding bullshit and broscience is wrong huh? You idiots think that every bodybuilder out there eats perfectly clean and whole foods?

IIFYM = If it fits your macros. I'm not talking about healthy eating here, purely body composition.

Show me a spec of research to backup your broscience.

Please explain to me how pizza and chicken are equivalent. Do you think it is possible to get your proper macros eating sh!t food. Last time i checked pizza was low in protein, high in fat, and high in sodium. Chicken and broccoli on the other hand are not. It is ok to have meals that arent completely clean every so often, but your main meals in your diet should not consist of things like ham and cheese sandwiches

Nutritious food VS. processed crap with none of the nutrients that someone needs to build muscle. Bodybuilders eat well. Go watch any of them shopping or eating. The only time i see them shove their face with crap food is a after a competition because that is the ONLY time they can get away with it.
There is no protein in pizza, donuts, candy, sweets, or pretty much anything else that is bad for you. Taco bell "meat" is only 30% from an animal and of that it is mostly fat. the macro nutrient breakdown will not meet any diet needs. You are an idiot.
BTW broscience usually means words of wisdom spoken by people who have more experience than your dumbass.

Truth is you can eat whatever you like if it fits your macronutrients for the day. if someone is eating 3000 kcals a day 30/50/20 - p/c/f, it makes no difference (stricly for body composition, not health) whether those calories and macros came from "clean" food or what you would consider junk. It's just complete bullshit to hear that someone has to eat 6-8 times (meal timing is mostly bullshit too) a day with only clean whole foods...No...you can eat like a normal person, 3x a day eating food everyone else eats and not feeling bad about it because you ate "dirty" and it won't affect muscle gains at all. Read Alan Aragon's work on this subject.

I'm not suggesting he eats big macs all day, I'm sure he knows the health risks in that, but there's no reason to not eat like a normal person and have a pizza or a ham and cheese sandwich. You don't have to live on tuna cans all day.

Show me one pro that has a 3 meal a day split. No matter how you look at it the foods that you are speaking of are not good for eating everyday. If they were people would not be obese. It is true that as long as you stay within your macros you will be fine, but the problem with that is pizza and ham and cheese sandwiches just about make that impossible.

And your next post how how pros only eat well during contest prep, can you show me where you heard that?
