Two Concerns: Water Intake and mixing creatine with whey

Two Concerns I've never really spent a lot of time on and would like some thoughts or even articles would be extremely helpful.

    (A) Firstly, does it matter whether I take Creatine and Whey protein individually postworkout or mixed together postworkout ? I know it makes no difference which order you take them in individually but is there a difference in taking them individually vs mixing the two powders together ? Probably a stupid/naive question but something I never considered.

    (B) Can you drink TOO much water ? If I were to graph my water intake it would indefinitely be linear. I started at 4L/water day (The equivalent of a bottle of water at each meal plus 1L between working out + protein shake). And now Ive found I'm up to 8L water/day without even really noticing. Some days I drink upwards of 10-12L and don't even realize. Is this a problem ? I'm not dehydrated or feel the need to quench my thirst I just like water I guess.

No genuine question is stupid, only the ones that go unasked. First off, the mechanism of creatine(conversion to creatine phosphate to be used as a secondary energy source during sets when the energy from ADP->ATP conversion is used) makes it more useful preworkout than postworkout, though using at both times is fine as well. And taking it with protein makes no difference, though taking it with a sugar source or high molecular weight carb source will allow it to "piggyback" with glycogen into muscle cells, increasing it's effectiveness as a cell volumizer if i'm not mistaken(I will check this tomorrow).

Yes, you infact can flounder from drinking too much, this is due to dilution of electrolytes such as sodium and more importantly potassium, which regulate autorhythmicity of cardiac cells(heart beats), which in turn can cause tachycardia and death. That being said, these effects would be apparent very quickly and would also be exacerbated by exercise so you would have noticed by now. If you are worried then you could get some thermotabs at a pharmacy(they are behind the counter but don't require a prescription), they are cheap and just contain electrolytes. To be honest, if you are using a multivitamin and consuming a diverse diet contain fruits you should be fine.
