Thread: cutting macros

    cutting macros

    Age 24, 6'2" 265 16.5 bf.

    Was thinking of doing 2,475 kcal, 307 protein , 150 carbs, 56 fat. I have already posted a diet but no response. Feel free to critique if I need to add/delete some values. Was originally thinking I don't need that much protein but I could be wrong.

    try it and see how your body responds. you may want to write the diet up here again so people can critique.

    I'm starting to think macros mean less and less. If you're busting your butt weight lifting and being consistent + thorough with your cardio and your caloric needs are on point as well as your diet is clean and top notch you will lose weight and bodyfat. I think the easiest thing to do is start with 40/40/20 and gauge how well your body responds to carbs and fats. Personally, I've cut on 300g of carbs.
