Whats with all the hate on to much protein from whey?

Whey is the most bioavailable protein there is. So im curious why alot of people say that whey protein should not be a main source of protein.
Is it to rough on the kidneys, since the whey protein is protein alone?

As long as the macros (carb/fat/protein) are in check, there shouldnt be a problem, but i am concerned about the health issues? if its to rough on the kidney etc.

When I go on my cut very very soon, i cant see myself eating 200G of protein from skinless chicken breast. With all the cooking and eating(college+work... to bring it with me and then cleaning the dishes. and all that is time consuming), i feel like i will burn out fast. And I was thinking of creating a meal plan with like 200G from whey and 100G from meats.... it will be easier for me. and whey protein is the most bioavailable protein. so why not--- as long as i get my carbs and fats from healthy nutritious food. there shouldnt be a problem. right?

i just see alot of people saying oh oh oh whey protein shouldnt be main source of protein. eat real food for real results.

I am lazy when it comes to cooking and eating, so i would really like to do this... But looking for info on if/why this would be a very bad idea...

Cooking in bulk isn't too tough. It's part of the game.

Whey is a supplement and should be treated as such.

I'd always say whole foods > supplements... Too many reasons to state.

    Go study some molecular biology!

The problem with whey as a primary source of protein is it's super fast absorption rate. We're talking 20-30 minutes. I have much less of a problem relying heavily on protein powders for food than I used to (I personally wouldn't go higher than 50/50 though, powder/whole food), however I always make sure it's a protein blend, vs. straight whey. Powders with a blend such as whey, casein, egg albumin, soy, milk iso, etc. ensure you have varying degrees of absorption and will help keep you satiated longer.

I cook (bake) ten pounds of chicken every Sunday evening. Takes three pans and 30 minutes. Put tin foil in the pan and there is virtually no cleanup. It all (barely) fits in a one gallon freezer bag which I put in the fridge and it covers me for chicken twice a day (snack and lunch). Eggs for breakfast. Fish for dinner. One protein powder snack in late afternoon and one before bed. Easy peasy protein for the day.

I basically do the same thing every weekend:

I cook a 4lb beef round in the slow cooker, with (weighed out) potatoes and onions. I grill off a huge batch of chicken and tilapia. I'll grill up a few boneless pork loin chops as well. Between all of that, eggs, cottage cheese, and protein powders, i'm gtg for the week.

There's no other way in this game bro, I don't see it being possible any other way, unless every single meal is a protein shake or some kind of shit filled bar.

Alright. I decided I will prepare the food the night before and put in plastic containers. Then bring it to me with work to heat it up . And I will have protein shakes while i am at college in between classes.

i got this. i will eat what is assigned for the day or i will starve. I WILL EAT WHAT I AM SUPPOSED TO EAT OR I WILL STARVE. (and face the consqueces of catabolism and hunger pains) i refuse to eat anything else other than what i am supposed to eat(what is on paper of my meal plan )

In the past, I have found it hard to lean up when using whey as my primary protein source. For scheduling/time purposes, I ate as much as 300 g a day from whey only for periods of time, but couldn't lean up right. For whatever reason, protein eaten as whole foods seems to do the trick much better, and at least for me require less grams total.
