    Help me prepare...

My new trainer wants to see what my max lifts are next Wednesday for legs... So I want to be prepared as best as possible. Training will be at 5.30pm. So this is what I thought of to best and strongest lfts out of myself:

    - 8 hours sleep night before
    - no HIT the day before
    - 10g creatine 30mins before
    - Mesamorpth Pre workout drink
    - Pushing my 4.30pm meal back to 5pm

If there's anything else you guys think I could do let me know...

    Thanks DP

Max lifts for reps or singles? Just legs? For what purpose?

Definitely no lower body or lower back workout for 2 days before. As you are new to HIIT cardio I maybe wouldn't do this for 2 days before either.

On a leg day I can't eat within 90 mins of my session, else I'll puke. Ditto a pre workout drink, can't stomach them on legs day.

In all honesty I would probably just stick with your normal legs day game plan. Just make sure you are fully warmed up with relevant moves and some light dynamic stretching.

Yeah mate just 3 reps of my heaviest, legs only. Squats, Leg Press and Lunges. It's just to see where I'm at how heavy I can lift, record it. Then once every six weeks do it again to see if iv improved.

Yeh I will scrap the HIT two days prior!

Yeh il keep the meals the same. Pre workout drink doesn't bother me. I want to throw up anyway, good indication I'm killing it in there, lol.

And yeh il make sure I'm properly warmed/streched up!

I wouldn't eat the preworkout meal closer to the workout; if anything, i'd make it 90 mins. Personally, 60 mins works best for me so i'd leave it alone and allow an hour for digestion.

LOTS of water. Good solid complex carb in your preworkout meal - sweet potato or something like that, oats, etc. Load those muscles up!
