I have been eating farm raised talapia pretty much every other day. I have heard your only suppose to eat fish one a week due to the mercury. Does this apply to talapia that is farm raised?

I eat tuna almost everyday. I haven't really heard anything about only having fish once a week. Google it brother
I would incorporate different kinds of fish, I eat lots of salmon, cod and shrimp. I think any fish is good but a variety offers different nutrients. Good luck.
Thanks guys. I googled it and every website and study has a different opinion but theres worse things I could be doing then having fish 3 or 4 times a week
My diet coach has me eating 8 oz of Talapia every night. It has been five weeks now...if I stop posting, assume the fish killed me. :-)
Kidding aside, I am going to look into this as well since I am sure my fish intake isn't going down any time soon.
Too much conflicting info on this currently. I haven't seen any overwhelming evidence for either side. I currently eat 6oz Tilapia, every single day. I'm not worrying!![]()
I eat tuna all day long
Alot of oriental cultures primarily consume fish as the protein source in their diets...given their notorious long lives id feel safe to say mercury content in fish being unsafe is BS.
Mercury content is why they say it's not healthy, I think it depends on the quality of fish you buy, but I would think the FDA would make them mercury content.
