    Fasting

    During the month of Oct. I fast for the day with one meal in the evening.
    I have done this for the last 10yrs. Its a religious thing before you start with all the crazy stuff....lol. I know its hard on the body but it has to be done. My question is what should my only meal be high in protein so that i can maintain some of my size? any and all input will be great.

    I meant to say that i fast all month with one meal in the evening. srry if that confused everyone

    Actually, it's really not all that hard on the body. Google the 'warrior diet'. Also check out leangains dot com - you might find the info very useful.

    I fasted the whole month of August, religious thing. I lost 8 Kilograms and maintained all my strength levels. I ate a high carb, high protein diet for Ramadan. Worked great for me.

    wm - out of curiosity, did you pay attention to macros with regard to the meal(s) when you DID eat? i.e. did you follow any type of IF regimen, or basically just fasted then ate when you ate?

    @ wm... did you drink anything and did you take any vits. during the day......I work out in the early am so im a lil more tired an have to push harder but im not doing to bad so far this month....
