Thread: same amount of shakes to solid meals ??

    Thumbs up same amount of shakes to solid meals ??

    okay so this week i have been having a solid meal and a shake etc
    example
    meal 1: 2 whole eggs 6 egg whites,large cup oats,banana,TS peanut butter,half pink skimmed milk
    meal 2: iso2 nutrition weight gain shake (41g protein, 45g carbs)
    meal 3: 3 pork loin fillets, large cup brown rice, avacardo pear, 2 chopped tomatoes, spoon olive oil
    meal 4: iso2 nutrition weight gain shake (41g protein,45g carbs)
    meal 5: large sirloin steak, sliced sweet potato, 3 heads brocoli,mixed berrie
    meal 6: 300g cottage cheese, small banana
    eating every 2-3 hours, this okay to use the shakes like this ? basically as a meal ???

    Which meals are pre and post workout?

    i train after meal 1 so the shake is post workout. i eat meal 3 about 1 hour after the gym

    Thats exactly what I do as well. Shake pwo followed by a meal an hour later. Looks fine to me man. You said same amount of shakes as meals but you have 2 shakes and 4 meals?

    As long as you're getting sufficient calories/nutrition from whole foods (which it seems you are), this is perfectly fine.

    cheers guys, sometime i admit i dont get a solid meal meal in for about 2 hours after the gym seeing as my gainer shake feels me up abit, but its mixed proteins so its got slow release in there too which should make that fine yea ??
