what can i add to a sandwich to add the extra crunch?

I am currently cutting right now, I really want to add bacon but that is not the best obviously, what is something I can add that is healthy but would add a crunch to the sandwich?

Romaine lettuce. Cucumbers. pickles if you don't mind the sodium. Personally, I add alfalfa sprouts to alot of sandwiches.

^^ lol I guess i'm too strict; i'm leery about carrots due to sugar content, and almonds due to fat. But yea, a small amount as a topping won't hurt as long as they fit into your macros.

^^ lol i'm done trying to get people away from eating sandwiches. If they want to eat sandwiches, they will eat them. If they want the body of their dreams, they'll rethink their diet.

you are so right about this! it took me a long time to get away from bread. i still crave it from time to time but have gone to wraps and lettuce wraps to try to solve the crave!

I hear you man... I LOVE bread, bread products, baked goods, cereal.. you name it. I'm a carb junkie to the umpth degree.

That said, when we really want something, we make it happen. I don't eat bread at all now. I did the same as you - moved to wraps for a while, even a high fiber wrap (13 out of the 17g of carbs was fiber, something like that) but now don't even have that. Just meats, veggies, protein powders, oats, cottage cheese, and fish oils. And I sneak the occasional natty PB, shhh!!
