Suitable snacks for a cutting cycle

Hey guys, I'm having trouble with the search bar on my forum app so if this has already been addressed just let me know.

Title says it all really, I'm just on a loose diet at the moment, trying to get myself back into the habit while I put together something stricter. Just wondering what works for everyone in between larger meals just to tame hunger a little bit but wont derail my calorie count.

    Thanks guys !

Depending on how strict you're being - if you're hitting your macros, anything you 'snack' on will put you over your calories. However something like fat free popcorn with a fat free butter spray is a decent snack. If you can fit the fat into your macros, some celery with natty peanut butter.

I try to rely on water to keep me full. If I get a sweet craving, diet soda is a go to.

Excellent reply, something like popcorn was exactly what I'm looking for. I sort of wrote off that type of food but I'm going to see if I can leave myself a little room in my diet for a snack here and there just to make it a little easier to stick to until I reach my desired weight.

Imo, a small snack/relief that makes a diet more sustainable is well worth the trade off of any additional calories. Dieting shouldn't... and doesn't have to be... a miserable experience.

Tbh I couldn't agree more, the little perks really help keeping me focused and content while on the stricter dieting needed for cutting.
