Thread: what you think of new diet ??

    Thumbs up what you think of new diet ??

    goal, bulk but keep it on the leaner side
    5-6 meals a day
    today:
    meal 1: 6 egg whites, 2 whole eggs, cup oats, banana, table spoon PB, half pint skimmed milk (all blended raw)
    meal 2: chicken breast, cup brown rice, chopped tomato, table spoon extra virgin olive oil
    WORKOUT
    meal 3: iso2 nutrition weight gain shake (41g protein + 44g carbs)
    meal 4: 3 lean pork loin steaks, large bowl of oats, banana + apple
    meal 5: tin of tuna, mixed veggies + yougart
    meal 6: 250g cottage cheese + mixed berries or grapes
    looks like a good solid diet wouldnt you say ??
    cheers and will be gratefull on any input too

    Mate u need to list your stats and full macros of this diet before proper advice can be given.

    Think you are short one food meal before you even post the macros.

    Looks pretty good tbh, not sure about all the sugary items spiking your insulin all the time though, i would maybe drop fruit and dairy, cottage cheese is ok, i would drop carbs to a minimum on none workout days.

    He wants to bulk, not cut, so carbs need to be level with proteins or fairly close.

    he said lean bulk and thats my opinion on how I would do it!

    cheers guys for the input, yea i may cut down slightly on the fruit etc and yes lean bulk is my aim at the moment so keeping carbs highish but not too much as i find thats when i start to gain fat.
