been there before man......the guilt afterwards is one of the worst feelings in the world....i've noticed that the longer ive been watching what I eat, the easier it gets to avoid situations like this....but, for me i don't know if I will ever be able avoid them unless im dieting for a comp
I don't think I could eat a whole pizza any more. Where the hell did you put it? I get full after a half-pizza these days.
Most of us slip up man, it happens. As stated above, that guilt afterwards is a horrendous feeling, but try not to be too hard on yourself. Tomorrow is another day. Regroup, and get back on the wagon. It'll be a minor setback at best.
ive been having dreams recently where i ate a giant bag of fried chips because i forgot about my diet but then i remembered and i was super choked
I think you guys are taking it way too seriously.
the bad dreams thing is hilarious LOL
ive been watching the food network fantasizing about the food theyre cooking and how good itd be to eat it...
most guys watch porn.. im watching the freaking food network...
I always have a cheat meal at the end of the week mate, anything I like! Something for me to look forward to and reward myself for a good weeks effort of zero cheating. Stress less...
jesus, you'll hardly die
I believe you must teat yourself on the weekend to make being strick durring the week easier.
i can tell u one thing ..ive been on my diet for 57 days and only had one cheat meal and its starting to wear on me hard man.. im considering cheating either 1/week or 1/2weeks just for some sanity...
^^^^LOL. I just typed out a long post advising you to not have an entire cheat week or 1/2 cheat week and then I re-read your post and realized what you meant. I went on and on about the human body having an infinite capacity to store excess energy and blah blah blah. Guess I need to read the posts more accurately.
IMO, there is nothing wrong with having a SCHEDULED cheat meal when you just can't take it anymore. In the long run, if it makes you be able to refocus and stick to your diet 100% again or allows you to be more dedicated to your diet for a longer period of time then it is actually a good thing. That being said, anyone who is trying to get to single digits in BF does definitely not need to cheat once a week or really at all.....
Lol, theres a video of Kai Greene on a stairmill, talking about basically cheat meals. And how he is gonna eat cake, and not count cals and carbs or anything. All in 2 weeks after his contest prep/contest was over.
LOL sgt... funny manyeh single digits r not in my plan rite now.. im shooting for sub 12%...
we all deserve a slippage every once in a while... in fact, it's good for you.
It's strange, over here, I get a lot of funny looks because I don't drink. We'll go out to dinner like we did last night, and I'll open up a tab for everybody, everyone is drinking, having a good time, and there I am sipping water. I hear it all the time...
"Loosen up man! You only live once"
"Are you in recovery is why you don't drink?"
"Are you like this at home too?"
"Are you afraid you'll lose control?"
I admit, people have a hard time accepting the fact when I'm trying to live a clean lifestyle.
But I really don't give a fuk what they think anyways!
hear ya times.. i dont drink either.. if i did the last thing id be working on rite now is my bodyand like u said...FCUK 'EM
Sometimes I am grateful for having developed a significant allergy to dairy as an adult. Two of my biggest diet killers were pizza and ice cream.
Pizza is fine for a cheat meal once in a while.
