    Negative Calorie foods!

Okay so I have a simple question for you guys!

At night I tend to get very hungry and even though i can stay on my diet all day, at night is when i get huge cravings.

So i decided to eat carrots. I heard that they are a negative calorie food so I just eat a couple of them until I feel full so that way I don't go all out with sweet or any other kind of food.

Is this okay? And btw i don't like eating raw broccoli or else I would be eating that instead lol.

    Thanks!

Many green fibrous veggies are, carrots are most definitely not!!! They have a relatively high sugar content; I liken them to fruit more so than a veggie.

The greener the better IMO. What DO you like that's green?

Why do you get cravings at all? Even on a below maintenance calorie diet I never get cravings because my food is planned to support my energy levels throughout the day.

What does your diet look like? When is your last meal.

    Thank you!

And my diet goes like so...

Meal 1: 1/2 cup of oats, 1 cup egg white omelet with 2 whole eggs, and multivitamin.

    Workout

Meal 2: Post workout shake (Waxy maize, whey protein, creatine)

Meal 3: 1/4 almonds or cashews, with 1 scoop whey protein

Meal 4: 1/3 cup of oats with casien protein

Meal 5: Carrots and casien protein

    BED

I love broccoli but only when its steamed. I work all day after I workout so I'll try and have my veggies when i get home for my last meal!

    Thanks!

What are your meals macro's, your stats and your goals?

Also times of meals and time of bed?

80% of your meals are just shakes plus carbs? No veggies? Man, no wonder you have cravings, you have very little in there to make you full.

You seriously need to be eating more. Concentrating on whole meals. This is not a very filling or healthy diet. Get over to the dieting section and start reading, or post up your stats age, weight, height, goals, etc and we'll try to give you some help. No wonder you're starving!
