    Meals prep

How does everyone prepare their meals? Do most people do all cooking on Monday and thursday to last the week? Or do you cook every morning for the day?

I sometimes find it difficult because I work 3-12 most nights. Gym 10.15-11.30ish then I usually cook my meals for work before I go.

Just curious as to how everyone manages their meals and prep time on average?

Spice it up a little mate. No reason why u can't unless your leading up to a comp. Herbs and spices some sauces plenty of ways to make it taste better. What are u eating?

Many here have a weekly cooking marathon. I am not that advanced yet but working on it. And preparing ahead is the KEY to this.

i usually rotate between chicken, fish and steak. Trying bulking up right now. If you know of any websites with good recipes or any yourself that would be great. A bit out of my league when it comes to being in the kitchen.

I cook Sunday night and Wednesday night but I may try bulk cooking Sunday night for the week and freezing to see how that goes.

I cook everything on Sunday, store in large tupperwares (I have a 2nd fridge thank God) and portion out each night for the next day. Sure, by Sunday we're talking about 7 day old food, but I haven't gotten sick yet and that's generally not a concern so long as the food is handled, prepared, and stored properly from the beginning.

You gotta do the prep work in the kitchen if u want ur time in the gym to be worth while! I do it Sunday afternoon- turn the music up and make a mess in the kitchen. My wife says I'm like the muppets chef in there throwing stuff around everywhere. Then I dominate the fridge at home, and at work.

This is exactly why I eat fish rather than chicken now. There is a recipe here that I ran into quite a while back where someone soaked their chicken in milk overnight in order to keep it from drying out. I'll try to dig it up cause I'd like to do this as well to add a little variety back into my diet again.

OP, I cook enough for 5 or 6 days. I never want to risk cooking every morning or before each meal because if something happens to keep me from eating "on time" then I'm risking the possibility of eating whatever is fast or convenient if I've waited too long. In which, in many cases, will add too many cals and or carbs to my daily macros.
