So tomorrow I'm starting a log for the next 20 weeks. I'm a very goal oriented person so I'm hoping that you guys can help me out with some realistic numbers. I realize this will largely depend on the individual and it's about impossible to predict how much somebody will gain/lose; however, we see people all the time say something like "I want to gain 20lbs of LBM, and at the same time lose 20lbs of fat in 8 weeks." To me this is unrealistic.
Stats:
29yrs old
5'9
180
~15% BF
Training History: Lost about 55lbs last year with diet and cardio alone. The last 8 weeks I've been working out, but recently was told my workout was a disgrace...lol. Tbody has designed a 8 week long 3/day per week full body superset routine for me and that starts tomorrow. Since I haven't really done resistance training in years (which the exceptions of the last 8 weeks of shit training) I would expect to see some significant "newbie gains"
The 1st 8 weeks will be a very lean mass building diet and workout program. I don't want to add any bodyfat!!!! I'm currently at ~15% bf. The remaining 12 weeks will either be a CKD or IF diet, goal here is not to lose any of the gains I just put on.
My hopes are to put on 10-15lbs of LBM in the first 8 weeks.....NO BODYFAT!!! (Please keep in mind - I have NOT been training for years...most of this will be newbie gains which is the only reason I think this could be possible)
Assuming that I gain no bf during this lean bulk period and stay at 15% BF, I would like to drop down to about 10% bf during the 12 week cut period.
I will NOT be running any aas through the span of this 20 weeks. However, I WILL be running a T3/Clen/Keto stack straight through the 12 week cut.
I'll be posting up my diet and training routine in my log tomorrow. The purpose of this thread is to start the log with some realistic numbers.
Are these goals too ambitious w/proper diet and training???? Are they reasonable? I'm a little out of my element here. Keep in mind...Once I set my mind on doing something, I don't quit, I don't cheat, it's alway 100%. Any and all help would be appreciated.
