    Day after cheating on diet

So last night I had a late shift and decided it was a nice thing to do to take the guys out after we were done. They picked a burger place called Shake Shack so who am I to argue. I had a double burger and a shake (I know I'm weak) which added plenty of extra fat and calories to my day. (Finished the day with 1000 over TDEE)

So my question is how is the best way to handle the next day? Do you try to eat your normal diet or should you try to cut some calories to try to balance? Usually when I do this I'll try to make up the next day which is what I did today (I only ate 1453cals P185/C85/F24). But I was thinking maybe this is not a great idea.

I have never had a weak moment and broke my diet but if I did I would start back the next day like it never happened. Starving off the calories could lead to another binge or mess with your eating program. Do some cardio and forget about it.

i'd train fasted the next day then resume diet after workout. you don't want to cut your calories the next day as this isn't good for your metabolism. doing the fasted workout will burn off those calories you consumed the night before

Everything as normal mate. Diet and training (if applicable). It happens, don't sweat it.

Yeah keep it normal, no biggie, I'd probably suggest to drink more water and prob lower your normal intake of sodium the next day as that meal was prob pretty high in it.
