    Carb loading on lifting days?

    I'm currently in my bulking stage. Now, I am around 205 lbs at 16 to 18% bf. I looking to shed some fat while putting on lean mass. Would it be a good idea to load up on carbs on lifting day and cut carbs back on non lifting day. Some thing like 350 on lifting days and 200 on off days

    Im no expert but i think at 16-18% you should cut to at least 12 before bulking.

    Sticking to one or the other you will reach your goal much faster

    That's a good point, to be honest I'm just guessing on the bf % its probably less, no less than 13 though. I guess its a good idea to figure out my bf...lol

    yeah if u are at 16 you cant afford to gain 1-2% on a lean bulk but at10% u can.
    Just my opinion mate. Its up to you but an 8 week cut should be good for you.

    Thanks for the advice bro! I agree and will start cutting, now do u think carbs loading would be a good idea while cutting as well on lifting days?

    I would post up your diet... then we can get a better look. but no i wouldnt carb load. maybe a refeed every 10 days or so

    Sorry it took so long. Work and what not been keeping me from sitting down and figuring it all out Hear it is

    Breakfast 7:30

    Protein Shake- 48g Pr - 6g carbs - 2g fat Oatmeal- 3g pr - 22g carbs - 5g fat

    Lunch 1pm

    6oz Chicken- 45g pr - 0 carbs - 4.8g fat Feta- 7g pr - 2g carbs - 7g fat 1c B. Rice- 12g pr - 36g carbs - 1.5 fat 1 Pear

    Dinner 8pm

    5oz Tilapia- 52g pr - 0 carbs - 6.2g fat 1c broccoli- 2.5g pr - 5.8g carbs - 3g fat 1.5c B. Rice- 18g pr - 54g carbs - 2.2g fat

    Snack 1 & 2 -11am & 3pm (split in half)

    4oz Tuna- 26g pr - 0 carbs - 4.8g fat Feta- 7g pr - 2g carbs - 4 g fat 1c B. rice- 12g pr - 36g carbs - 1.5g fat

    PWO shake. 48g pr - 4g carbs - 2g fat

    Total:

    2465 cals - 281g pr - 214 carbs - 72g fat
