    Best carb sources bros?

Oatmeals a good carb source I hear...

what about rice? Wild rice is that better than white rice?

    Any other good carb sources?

Is maltodextrin a complex or simple carb???

Oatmeal, brown rice (wild is ok, but make sure they haven't added anything to it), sweat potatoes, real wheat bread (rye, 12 grain, alpha sprout....) Wheat pasta, grain and bran type cereals.

malt is a complex carb yet it has a GI value higher than dextrose go figure....

    Good carb sources:
    oats
    brown rice
    yams
    potatoes (not my favorite)
    beans
    veggies (not carrots)
lower on the list is whole wheat goodies (breads, pastas)
ok, going brain dead..........but I think maltodextrin is a simple carb.

Dammit Pain....beat me by less than a minute!!!

Malto is a comple??? See, learn something new everyday!

Also I meant whole wheat products lower on the list of carb sources not the GI level. SOrry for any confusion.

I know it is strange but just the way it works. I hate when you see products that claim no sugar and they are loaded with malto!! Just as bad IMO.

haha, then oatmeal wouldn't be that healthy for you, it would be processed and have a high GI value. I know that some newer MRPs use barley, brown rice and hydrolyzed oat flour. Not the best sources of carbs but better than some other powdered forms when it comes to GI. I haven't seen them in a tub raw though.
