many sites say very high but i squeeze majority of the fat out of the 6 oz patties i make. no way the could be 24 gs of fat in there?

my 96%fat free ground beef has 18g fat in 1 lb! cant get much bettern than that! labeled 96/4
I use 95/5 exclusively, and it's roughly 24g protein, 4.5g fat per 4oz (raw). However the fat should be slightly lower after draining off any excess grease.
Anyone have experience on beef rinsing? Read about it somewhere before though never tried
I wouldn't bother. Firstly, it sounds fvcking gross. Second, if you're already using lean beef and draining the sh!t out of it, you really don't need to rinse it - in fact, the saturated fat will do you some good, we all need a bit of it. Beef is a great source.
the leanest beef i can find is about 10% fat, 10g fat 23g protein,
i just cook it with no oil and drain most of the fat off before i eat it
thanks for the quick responses guys, i was all worried for a bit there. lol
now that I know i was getting the wrong information i'm gonna create myself a new diet, an help critiquing it would be very helpful and appreciated.
