Popeye endorses it and that's good enough for me.

Spinach is a good source of many vitamins and minerals, and a low to moderate source of protein, calories, fiber, and carbohydrates, but contains no fat. All in all, it should be included in a diet along with any other green, leafy vegetable, but it certainly shouldn't be singled out as a great muscle builder either.

I like spinach as a salad. It is a green leafy vegetables which should be a staple of your diet. I persoanlly could not stand broccoli until i started making it myself. I steam it for a few minutes then throw it in a hot skillet with some garlic for about a minute. It is very tender and tastes great
