    spontaneous muscle gain on cut?

    so in 3 months i dropped from 222 to 194 and dropped a ton of fat, and some muscle.
    for a while i was using lighter weight and focusing on form rather than load as directed by my trainer.
    a couple weeks ago i increased my protein intake and started lifting heaving again and a week has gone by and no weight loss

    stats:
    194lbs
    6'0"
    21 yo
    maybe 15% BF
    judging by losing 28lbs in about half as many weeks at 2000-2200kcals i put my self at slightly over 3000kcals for TDEE

    current diet

    250 protein
    150 carbs
    50 fat

    i went off keto a few weeks ago and have been on this diet since (actually was closer to 200g carbs but been lowering it) and have succesfully been losing 1.5lbs a week

    now a week has passed and no change in weight, and its too soon to say im losing fat but i think so

    have i suddenly resurrected by muscle by lifting heavy and actually gaining while on 800+kcal deficit without steroids?

    Wait more than a week before you panic!! Sometimes you could go for 3 weeks without any changes and the following morning wake up 5 lbs lighter, if after 2-3 weeks you see no change than you could change macros around and stuff.

    Also post the diet you are currently on with macro split, p/c/f as well as their calories, totals for the day as well to better assist you

    1/2 banana
    1/4 cup oats
    1/2 cup egg whites
    1 sc whey
    2F/40C/42P

    100g ham
    4/4/20

    Preworkout:
    chicken (5g olive oil) and rice
    rice mix: red rice, brown rice, black rice, long-grain wild rice
    8/46/40

    postworkout
    10g sugar
    30g waxy maize
    2 sc protein
    3/40/48

    x-lean ground turkey (5g olive oil)
    7/2/40

    broc and carrot
    0/10/4

    dinner(in 2-3 meals)
    tilapia and butter
    6/2/25

    ground beef
    12/2/35

    cottage cheese
    2/6/16

    i will also take
    4g CLA
    4/0/0

    total
    48/152/270

    2100kcals

    i switch stuff up a bit but this is pretty standard...
    always 250-270 protein
    +/- 15g carbs
    +/- 5-10g fat

    im also have 4 days left on 3-4 weeks ECA then i will take 2-3 weeks off and give it another 3-4 weeks

    ^^ bingo.

    Remember that neither fat loss nor muscle gain are linear; some guys go months without seeing changes (this is true more so with muscle gain) and then suddenly see an explosion in growth, with little to no changes in diet or routine.
