replaced peanut butter by avocado. i definitely dont regret it.
(cutting on keto)
Peanut butter taste so damn good and is very hard to dose accurately (that shit is 100 cal per 15g serving), i suspected i always ate too much and felt very bad about putting the jar back in the fridge everytime because i wanted MOARRR. so i just replaced my 30g peanut butter serving by an avocado and damn, thats a good trade! i feel fuller and i get less carbs and am no longer tempted to take another spoonful
1 avocado (130g)
200 cal
20g fat
11g carbs (9 fiber) so basically 2-3g net carb
3g protein
30g peanut butter:
200 cal
14g fat
8g carbs (2 fiber) 6g net carb
6g protein

Love avocado! Good choice, better nutritional profile, and just all around awesome. I'm biased, though.

Both have decent fat profiles, but as you said, PB is WAY too easy to overeat. Avacado is a great choice, but some of us like it a lot too and could potentially overeat it as well!
As D7M said, nobody OD's on fish oil!

I get a decent amount of avacado in my diet because my wife is Colombian and they eat alot of it.

hmm may give avocado a try.. rite now i eat 32g pb every nite.. i must say if the scale says 35g or 37g sometimes ill let it slide cuz it tastes so good LOL.. i guess tats what yall r talkn bout huh ??
