changing diet while taking a break from training

So this is what i was wondering so i don't add any fat.I am going to take some time off(about 4 days)from training since i've been at it for 6 weeks continuously and i feel a bit tired/bored to go workout.

How should i adjust my diet for these 3-4 days?I think i'll need less calories than when i am working out since there won't be any muscles that need recovering from day to day.Should i just lower my carbs a bit? What do you think?

    Thanks!

i am worried because in the past 6 weeks i have added 10lbs of bodyweight and my waist has gone an inch bigger

However my arms have gone 2cm(about half an inch)bigger and my lifts have increased. For example my bench press has gone up 22lbs and my barbell curls have gone up 10lbs.

Would it be safe to say my workout program is good and i am making progress?I am asking because i am a newb and i'm still trying to find out what is the best workout for me,nmber of sets etc...

do a deload week, lighter weights less reps less intense. then if you feel the same way take a few days off and drop some carbs but as jy said only 10% or so you will still be in recovery for thos days and dont wanna lose. but at the same time its only 4 days.

I think it helps sometimes to take a few days off. I feel like I come back stronger. Just cut back on the calories a little for a few days and you'll be great.
