What is your guys personal opinions on diet choice, would you rather so a Leto diet or do a 50/40/10 protein, carb, fats...? I have read up on both diets and tried both but wanted to see what others feel about them, thanks for your opinions!

What are your goals?
I'm personally not a fan of keto diets, but I know people for whom they've worked well for.
Assuming weight training is involved, I'd always opt for a diet containing carbs.
As stated above, what are your stats and goals?
Age:22
Height:6'1
Weight:203
Bf%:10
Goal is to cut down to around 5% bf for summer
Yo yo.......I know a lot of people like to do the TDEE calculator to find out calorie requirements or do percentages of calories but those are really just rough estimates ...Nothing can be set in stone except for trial and error..
Calculating calories I kind do it old school style....I focus on the necessities...Protein will always be the same whether cutting or bulking...Carbs will fluctuate the most, anywhere between 100-500 grams and fats should always be minimal...So basically the biggest factor one needs to look at is their carb intake based on their goals....Fat will also be adjusted, but definitely not fluctuate as much as carbs....
If ones goal is to cut, start carbs on the lower end 100-200 grams, hard gainer starts at the high end 400-500 grams, you're in the middle, start in the middle..Fats start at an average of 70-75 grams and protein should always be around 1.5 grams per pound bodyweight..........
So going off this structure, one really only needs to adjust their carb intake depending on their goal and fats will be marginally adjusted....
Pick your poison and stick to it for 2 weeks and then tweak from there...Not losing enough? Drop the carbs........Another 2 weeks, still not losing enough? Drop the carbs, maybe even some fat....
Adjust adjust adjust.....Just trial and error.
