    Canned chicken?

Is canned chicken alright to include in diet? I know alot of people use canned tuna, but im not too fond of fish. So i was wondering if the chicken can substitute it. White meat, not mixed. and with water drained off, because i know that contains alot of sodium.

I've seen canned chicken before, but I've never taken the time to look at the macros. Something about chicken in a can sounds gross to me.

Haha, well its cooked and sealed, but to me cant be worse than tuna. i hate tuna. And i think its around 60 cal a serving, THinking 2 oz, about 12 gm protein and not much fat. This is off the top of my head as i havent looked at em in a while.

I have used it before. Open the top of the can but leave it on- run cold water thru it and press the top down into the chicken and get all that salty water outta there. You will get sick of it quickly- try baking chicken Breast in the oven and put whatever spices on it u like- there are tons of low sodium spices with different flavors

I'm sure it's fine, but it's really expensive, even compared to just buying chicken and grilling it up yourself. Tuna is popular because it's really inexpensive for the quantity and quality of protein you get

Well, from the canned chicken I have seen/used before the macros are pretty similar to canned tuna....It's fine, but the canned chicken tastes more like the canned tuna and the tuna tastes more like chicken to me ha ha ha I think it might be a conspiracy...

Out of all the bad things you could eat sodium would be the least of your worries, of course unless you're competing or something.....Or have high blood pressure
