New member, read stickies, still looking for advice on diet. TRT @ 20.

Hey guys glad to be here. Some background:

    Age: 20
    Height: 5'8"
    Weight: 160lbs
    BF: 15%
Cycle experience: Tren , pro hormones.

Now, you guys are probably wondering how the hell im 160 and took tren. Well I was in high school and very very stupid about AAS. Worst mistake I ever made in my life and it cost me my own natural test production. I am on TRT (250mg/2 weeks) forever as far as I am concerned. I am living proof no teen should ever use AAS, no matter how good their diet/training is. It WILL ruin you.

I have been training around 4 years on and off never truly gaining the muscle I desired because I wasn't dedicated. Once I started TRT a year ago, I started training again and eating a lot and I noticed how hard it was to stay lean/lean ish. I've never had a 6 pack naturally but was always pretty thin regardless. My question is, should my carbs be lower than the average bulker if I have a higher than normal BF? I know protein is a must, and I right now I am using the STS system by Ronnie R so my training is intense.

Well, I would much rather just try to keep my bf from going too much higher but I want to gain size before I drop bf%. Im just so damn light. I have watched Milo Sacrev's seminar videos in the stickies and he mentions it is best to keep carbs at breakfast, pre-w/o, and post w/o. Or before other physical activity. But if you are just relaxing and not doing much, then just protein is fine and avoids unwanted bf. How do you guys feel about this?

Personally ii would wanna be @ 12% bf before considering a bulk but were all difft

As far as carbs go ur gonna need them for bulking.. They play a big role which is partly why i askd about u cutting ur bf% down first.. Ur tdee is 2640cals if u work out 5days per week..

Wats ur current workout schedule and cardio schedule? Have u been following any specific diet?

    Monday: Back (deads, pullups)
Tuesday: Shoulders (overhead press, behind back shoulder press)
    Wednesday: Legs (squats, front squats)
    Thursday: Chest (Bench, incline bench)
Friday: Arms (close grip bench, farmers walk)

12 sets total (6 sets per excercise) to failure.

Have not been following any specific diet. I am not trying to avoid carbs, just use better timing during the day to help avoid more bf. about 300g protein, 200g carbs, 80g fat

Those macros equal 2 thousand seven hundred 60 cals.. Id switch it up to:

    2800cals
    280g pro
    280g carb
    62g fat

    40/40/20 split..

Thats a good startn split for bulking.. U want the carbs.. Like i said which is why id cut down to 12% before bulking

Thanks for the feedback! I definitely do feel better with more carbs, preferably when i eat then before activity and not when im inactive. As for nutrient timing, is it a good idea to consume more carbs at breakfast, pre w/o and post w/o? I lift at around 11-noon everyday and work at night. Noting in between so I think keeping my carbs to pre, post, and breakfast as well as during work since I move around alot (not strenuous but constantly moving) would be smart instead of when im just sitting around resting. And don't think im neglecting your advice either, if I continue to see too much bf gains I will definitely consider cutting first.
