    Books on nutrition

So I know a little about nutrition and can put my diet together no problem, macros, know what I need and when I need it etc

But I'd like to know more and fully understand things like the effect simple carbs have on insulin , how glycogen works, micro nutritents, the different amino's and how some are more important than others for a few examples, so a little more advanced than your difference between whey and casein lol

I know many of you are well versed in all of this, so any books to get me started?

    Thanks

I'd look into anything written by Lyle McDonald. He also has a site (where u can purchase his ebooks) with excellent articles - bodyrecomposition dot com.

For another/differing approach, google Alan Aragon.
