    1-2 weeks only why?

will take a few days to get into keto. let alone get back out of it 1 week later.

    pointless imho.

u got low bf% if that is tested right not guessed. u could do a simple cutting diet with still low carbs and have great results

^^^Agreed...you're getting down to the point that it's much harder to drop bodyfat. The lower BF% you are the slower the reduction happens. I would plan on at least 6 weeks...probably more like 8. How low are you wanting to go.

Appreciate it, my ultimate goal would be to get under 8%.

would you recommend doing keto for 5 weeks, 1wk on - 1wk off with clen?

as i am planning on running test e and EQ in 5weeks so i can rebound of keto on my lean bulk diet.

longer peroid of time on keto is ideal. u will get to ur goals no doubt. prob longer than 5 weeks but see how u respond. no harm setting a deadline

u can do ur clen 2 on two off. or 1 on 1 off. depends on how u feel and how its working.

have u got a re feed day in there?

If I were you...I would prime for 6-8 weeks using a carb cycle. Run the clen at 2on/2off.

Here's a really good thread on priming.

dont go 1 week off 1 week on with keto, it can take close to a week to get into a good level of ketosis. you should be doing keto nonstop with 8-12 hour weekly refeeds for at least a month.

also if you gonna do keto lose the blueberries and rice cakes. keep carbs to strictly to fibre,

i would also suggest gaining some weight or geting older before running a cycle. but that is just my opinion

sorry i think you must have minsunderstood jypoll (my fault) run keto for five weeks straight whilst supplementing with clen 1week on 1 week off.

i am looking into Prime carb cycle now - thanks for your input slfmade.

@t-gunz referring to "re feed day", not sure what that is? area you talking about a cheat meal day?

refeed is when you eat carbs... if you are doing CKD which you should, once a week you have a day where you eat carbs instead of fat so your body can function at the gym. its not a cheat day, you still need to eat good carbs, same protein and as little fat as possible

I'm not here to warrant doing this, but this is my personal experience with CKD. Again, this is PERSONAL EXPERIENCE.

I was having so much trouble losing weight. I tried the strict Keto diet, but it was killing me. This is when I started CKD. I ate perfectly and went into ketosis every week, refed every Saturday. When I refed, I didn't particularly eat good carbs and low fats LOL

I would look forward to Saturday every single week!! Every Saturday I would wake up and have a HUGE waffle filled with Maple Syrup. I then had a HUGE lunch and dinner and even many times had ice cream to finish dinner off. I figured I would try it out and see what happen.

52 lbs lighter and still keeping the weight off, it worked great for me. Never lost weight so easily in my life and never felt better. Went to the doctor to have blood checked and blood pressure, etc. He said I had never been healthier. Even asked me what I was doing differently to improve my overall health so much.

Moral of the story: Everyone is different. Everyone responds in a different way to certain things. Experiment man. That CKD diet allowed me to lose the weight I struggled to lose for so long, yet keep me sane eating all the shit I loved every weekend. Experiment. That's the only way you figure yourself out.

With all that knowledge you should put some of it to good use. At 5-11 170lbs it seems you're high dollar education is a complete waste.

just because you have a degree doesnt make you any better than the rest of us. I have worked with many personal trainers who dont know jack about proper diet and training, who are fat and out of shape with injuries.
