these idiots didnt make it clear on whether or not it was brown or white, but im going to assume it was brown.

Brown rice contains the fiber, so it aids in regularity.
As for rice causing constipation - that's a ridiculous blanket statement. No surprise it's at BB.com and not here. Some people don't do well with rice, some don't do well with potatoes, some don't do well with carbs all together, etc. It's all indiviualistic.
