    Meal after fasted morning cardio

    Sup fellas,

I've been reading several posts and haven't been able to find the answer to a specific question of mine. I know that as long as you're not performing HIIT in the morning but rather LIT or a steady cardio workout for X amount of time it is better to do so on an empty stomach in order to burn more fat. However, most of the time I also lift in the morning and normally do so an empty stomach. So, here is my question. Should I do my cardio in the morning on an empty stomach then eat some oats and a few eggs and then hit the weights? or Should I just do my cardio in the morning and leave the weights for later? Any help is appreciated... thanks in advance.

P.S. I prefer to to both in the morning because sometimes I don't get a chance to hit the gym in the evening. Although if need be I could probably do the cardio at home (treadmill) and instead of LIT maybe some HIIT???

If you prefer to do both then I would suggest you hav a pre workout meal then lift and do cardio after. Your cardio can then be HIIT, LIC or HIIT followed by LIC. Then PWO meal/shake as normal!
