My question is....is that really good for muscle? going without carbs for 6 weeks.......well he does introduce them on the 5th and 6th week weekends, but still really low, I'm currently cutting for my summer, and thinking if i should give this diet a try.........any feedback would be appreciated, thanks...

I've done CKDs for up to 12 weeks with no discernible loss in lean body mass (I've actually gained some lean weight on occasion), but I can't comment on going all-out on, say, The Atkins Diet (I'd go stark raving mad).

However, as with everything else diet/excercise-wise, YMMV.

I did virtually no carb for 3 years-- no cheating. I built up- not doown. Fat went down-- not up. People said that I could have built up much faster if I ate carbs, but it was more important for me to be lean and cut. It'll work-- No cheating.

Hey Swole thanks for the advice on my pwo meals. I've added in the carbs at night and must say....in just a few days I actually feel better and look a bit fuller. I really can't wait to get started on your program.
