    Clen and carbs question

    Hi guys

I'm going to give a cycle of clen a shot but i had some questions regarding diet and carbs in particular.

Currently i wake up at 5am and have my oats and egg whites and then do an hour lifting at 6am followed by 45 minutes low intensity cardio.

My question, would it be beneficial for me to skip the pre workout meal and do my lifting and cardio both fasted to get the most fat burning benefits from clen?

Unless you're running an IF diet, I wouldn't bother training fasted. I think you'll get more benefit from a preworkout meal.

Even when fat loss is the primary goal?

To me i don't see how clen would work if you are just burning those calories from you pre workout meal during your training

I wouldn't rely primarily on my workout to burn fat, unless you plan to use the workouts for depletion such as in a carb cycling type diet. Even then, you wouldn't want to do that every day, hence, a carb cycle.

Right now, I am eating a preworkout meal on all training days, but only 3 of those days have carbs in said meal. This is to help keep bigger workouts (legs for instance) intense and give max effort to lifts. The remainder of days where carb intake is negligible at best, my workouts are geared towards glycogen depletion - high rep, short rest, total body, etc.

Ah i see, i just thought working out fasted would better help me burn fat as it is being used as fuel instead of carbs from my preworkout meal.

Isn't clen so effective because it helps our body use stored fat as energy, so feeding carbs before a workout sort of seems like it's defeating the purpose
