    Cutting foods

Hi I was just interested in learning about different foods that can help with cutting. I was hoping to get a list going of different foods that people use for cutting diets. Thanks.

Read the sticky Bodybuilding Foods Macronutrient Chart all the foods there are good for everything cutting and bulking it's all to do with how much of the foods u eat.

As long as you eat clean doesn't matter if your cutting or bulking.

There are other threads there to show you how to diet all on the nutrition forum.

    Hope this helps

Most cutting and bulking foods are the same.. What changes is the quantity.. While bulking some allowances can be made for dairy and fruit depending how anal u want to be..

    My cutting diet was mainly:
Chikn breast, lean ground beef, egg whites, 2%cottage cheese, protein powder, canned tuna, oats, sweet potatoes, broccoli, asparagus, natty PB .. And thats pretty much my entire diet..

^^ this. No difference in foods for cutting vs. adding mass, unless you're one of those people who don't care about how much bodyfat is added during a 'bulk'.

    Proteins:
Chicken/Turkey breast (real meat, not cold cut/deli meats)
lean beef - I use 95% lean ground, or top sirloin for steaks
Bison and other lean wild game meats
    white fish - any variety
    eggs (mind the yolks)
    protein powders
    cottage cheese
    greek yogurt

    Carbs:
    Oats
    Sweet potato/yam
    Quinoa
    Lentils/beans
    rice (brown, basmati, jasime)
    cous cous
    farina/grits

    Fats:
Personally, I get all the fats I need from my meats and then supplement the rest with fish oils, but other healthy choices are:
    Avacado
    Nuts and nut butters
    oily fish (salmon, bluefish, etc)
    egg yolks

Far from a complete list, but it's a good start.
