    Gaining weight on keto now wtf??

    I have been doing keto for 7 weeks now started at 222 now i am 189 in the morning ...... but this week i gained weight somehow, i am 2 lbs heavier than last week i dont get it ive been doing same diet not to mention this week ive done double the cardio can my scale be not accurate. Also i use ketostix to see if im in keto normally their pink but today i tested and it didnt change color at all im really disocuraged right now im pushing my self to my limits and taking step backwards.... any help would be great

    Do you hve regular carb load days? You need them to keep your body guessing

    Don't sweat it. Fluctuating like that in one week isn't all that uncommon. I was 191lbs 2 weeks ago, am hardcore carb cycling, had one of my best weekends yet in terms of sticking to it, and would up 2lbs heavier the next weekend's weigh in. It happens. Water. Excrement. Who knows. Next weigh in, you may very well lose more than you normally do in a 2 week period. You have to wait more than a week before assessing to make changes, and moreover, getting discouraged. 222 to 189 is nothing to sneeze at, you've done well so far so be proud of your accomplisments!
