    Food for today (pics)

    Does this seem like enough food for on cycle.
    I don't have my cottage cheese and almonds meal I have before bed cause I hadn't made it yet . Looking at these pics, I'm thinking I need more veggies.
    Today was a workout day so I had a protein shake after working out

    There isn't that much salt, but there is some for sure and as I get further into cycle it'll get plainer and plainer...

    Do you think I should add another meal? Or add more food to my meals? Or both?

    Yep, you'll need to eat more food to grow, this sure could be plenty if you are 130lbs and trying to bulk up to 145lbs

    U still love the macros eh? Lol you helped me out a while ago gbrice, big time, I drifted away from counting my macros.

    I'm going to increase my calories, count my macros, take pics with macro info beside it

    Breakfast - 2 whole eggs, not sure how many egg whites will figure it out though now

    Protein shake after working out

    1.5 chicken breast half a yam( going to switch to a full one, the yams are sliced up, red pepper flakes on them and oregano baked in the oven with olive oil.
    Asparagus with whole eggs over them with a bread crumb thing( so tasty but I'm guessing this needs to go lol ugh)

    1.5 chicken breast , whole wheat pasta and sauce
    Falafel, which is chick peas, onions, parsley, coriander, red pepper flakes. Garlic.

    Chicken breast, yams, asparagus with eggs and bread crumbs

    Cottage cheese

    I'm 6'1 my weight is 230 and I want to gain weight, and I want to know exactly what's going in my body and will appreciate any help or advice , I love this app

    You know this thread reminds me of a Dr. NakaMat who photographed every meal he ate from age 45 to age 80, that's like 35 years worth of food photos. Granted he's a bit eccentric and only eats 1 meal a day... still... Cool thread I want to see more photos! Every damn meal! Do it!

    Also, yeah you're eating like a bird if you weigh 230. Seriously now.

    Lol I won't be eating like a bird anymore, my breakfast I'm making right now, 2 eggs 8 egg whites, cup of oatmeal, and some fruit, gonna be huge, will post the pic soon

    I'm less anal about macros than I used to be, but unless you know what's going into your body, how can you know where/what to adjust when the time comes?

    Lol I love it, I put a cup of oatmeal in a bowl add 2 eggs and the 8 egg whites, mix it together and cook it like an omelette, I prefer this over eating oatmeal plain, that shits gross,
    that was so hard to eat, near the end I gagged a couple times lol but i got it down

    For sure man, all of this crap is just that - crap.

    There aren't many foods that I eat that I like. I do love steak though, but just can't afford to eat it all the time.

    Just got to think of the end result
    Eating is for fueling the body, don't need to put shit in that tastes good and gives u a sugar rush, I'd rather have my body as anabolic as possible, I'm going to do cardio shortly, hoping it increases my appetite and let's me eat more, gonna grab some groceries after, need more yams

    I must say I love when I go to the grocery store and I can tell ppl are looking at how clean my food is, my Fav is when ppl comment about it

    For breakfast I usually have 1 hard boiled egg, 3 cherry tomatoes. then 2cups oatmeal with walnuts, wheat germ, a touch of honey and mix in either a cut up banana or some blue berrys.

    Sorry haven't figured macros yet, busy day today and I'm on midnight shift, anyway here is todays meals. I also had protein when waking up( wasn't hungry at all and wanted some protein in me

    Ad after work before bed gonna have cottage cheese and pistachios

    And also I did 30 mins of intense cardio today ad had a protein shake after that

    OP, with due all respect, I can't help but giggle every time I see your food pics regarding the portion size. My 11 year old nephew eats more than this, try to get more food in you if you want to look like a lifter.

    Congrats on the improvements though, after all you are eating relatively more nowadays then what you did before.

    PS: I like your breakfast the most.

    So I'm at work on my lunch, ate my meal with the chicken skeweres And i figured since U guys say I need more food, I just bought beef jerky and chocolate milk, I know the sodium is terrible for both but I want more calories in me and I can't get anything proper,

    Back to the drawing board tomorrow though

    I know alot of ppl don't approve, but I don't get breaks at work sometimes or happen to be in a precarious position so I do eat 1-2 protein bars throughout the day, the kind I get have 20g protein, very little sugar and almost no fat, the usual vitamins and minerals.... You are lucky to have time to prepare such extravagant meals, for your self. I usually have to prepare in bulk for the week( during weekend) or at dinner, having enough for the next day until I can get home for my after workout shake.

    To tell you the truth, I'm very lucky. My gf makes my food. I'm usually there when she makes it. I know how to cook though and by watching her could make these meals myself now, but food tastes better when you dont make it lol.

    When she cooks my food I'm there with her watching and helping, it literally takes about 20-25 mins to make all my meals.

    I agree with most of the other posts in that it looks good, just larger portion sizes. I spend a small fortune on meat and I'd still like my portion sizes to be bigger.
