    Low to High carbs

Ive been on a low carb diet for a long time and now gone onto a high carb diet. Has anyone had any side effects like headaches and achy joints when there have done this?

I did the same as you but didn't experience these issues. Have you eaten high carbs in the past? Do you recall having headaches and/or joint pain? Have you added a significant amount of weight in a short time since switching to high carb? If so, that could add stress to your tendons and joints. Just a thought or two.

It was a while ago I did high carbs and didnt have headaches. Ive put 9 pound on in 3 weeks so you might be right about the stress. I havnt increased my fluid, Are you thinking that could be causing the headaches?

If by increasing carbs you are increasing your wheat/bread intake that could be the cause of the headaches. I have not had a headache since I stopped eating wheat and I am not allergic. Just another idea to kick around...
