hey guys,
I know it seems like a lot but i an going by other peoples adive that are n AS. They told me if you do not eat around 5000 cals on a bulk diet know matter what you weight it will be a waste of money to do i cycle. My metabolism is i think above average my maintaince cals are 3000 cals . How many calories do you think would be ideal. protien ? Carbs ? Fat ? . And i would like to know if you guys count your protien sources from everything or just from animal and dairy products. Overall is the foods i choosen look good.
thanks for your help

protein - 1.5-2 grams per lb of lean body mass
carbs - 2-2.5 grams per lb of lean body mass
fats - should make up the rest of calories
Now you want to start at your maintanence level and gradually increase your calories as you go. If you just jump the gun and start eating 5000 calories a day, yeah you'll put on weight, but mostly fat. I'd just start at 3000 and add around 500-600 calories to your daily total a week until you reach the level that gives you the greatest gains in lean body mass and minimal fains in fat.
Good choices but not limited too
protein-
chicken, lean red meat, lean pork, fish, protein powders, eggs.....
carbs-
brown rice, oats, beans, wheat based pasta's, yams, potatoes, whole wheat breads.......
fats-
flax seed oil, natural peanut butter, nuts, egg yolks......
these are just a few examples of good choices, so don't limit yourself to just what I put up.

BIG TEXAN is Right !!!
I am a firm advocate of intuitive training and dieting. You need to know your body and how it does on certain foods and training principles.
People when bulking get an idea that I will eat anything and get huge and ripped... if that were only true. ( I guess for a small few that have the perfect metabolism it may seem the case) But for the other 99% of the world it just isn't so.
You should eat fairly healthy on a bulking cycle. just more of it... And if have decided that there is no other way than using AS... then you still have to plan get the most out of it.
good luck
