Top 10 healthy snacks to go
Hey guys i work outdoors all day and get hungry.
instead of eating fattening chips. Any suggestions on
healthy snacks that i can grab at a store (besides fruit)

nuts in the shell (sunflower, peanut, almond, pistachio, etc.)
dried fruit
home made beef jerky (store bought stuff is so~so, but alot of sugar)
cans of tuna
cans of chicken
corn nuts (yeah, kind of a cheat, but damn their good!)
veggies (carrot, celery, radish, bellpepper slices, etc.)
just off the top of my head

Are you looking for something that's high in protein? I would say protein bars but they aren't really all that healthy with the fat and sugar in them. Beef jerky is high in protein, low calories but has a ton of sodium which might be a problem since you are working outdoors all day. Any kind of "energy bar" is going to be packed full of sugar and calories. You'd be just as well of with a peanut butter sandwich than an energy bar.
But if your alternative is chips or something of that nature then anything above is better for you than that. Chips are for fat people.
Do you have access to a refrigerator?

Im just looking for snacks that are low in fat or even fat free.
And no fridge just a cooler. Times Roman hit it in the dot
