Most "Boring" and "Bland" diets you have ever experienced with!
I know when it comes to "Cutting" diets our food choices almost get slashed in half.
Currently I'm cutting and running off a tight budget so you could say so my food choices are as minimal as possible. Since 3 weeks ago I had changed my diet to these foods and these foods only.
Oats
Chicken
Broccoli
Whey
Natty PB
Water
If I had a bit more money I would spice it up a bit(Not even my veggies differ, just straight broc)and throw in a few more food choices and diversity but for now, this is it!
Curious if anybody else around here has followed some bland and plain diets!

Haha that's the same as me man. Minus the broccoli. I like fresh plain green beans though. And plain brown rice because after a certain point of reading so much plain oatmeal i begin to have gag reflexes!

With the addition of raw baby spinach and eggs you would have my exact food choices. Eggs make for a good addition if you can squeeze out a little more cash. I get 5 doz for around 9 bucks. Just a pain to separate by hand. This is how I came to be great friends with mustard and hot sauce. It may be the same flavor over and over but at least it's flavor.

Not for me. I eat the same foods, just less of them. Fruits are the one exception; I eat MUCH less.
IMO, any diet where you don't allow variety will quickly become bland and boring. Grilled chicken and brown rice for every meal... I've seen diets like these, and for anybody but the extremely strong willed, they're bound to fail.
Spice it up. Change it up. Keep it interesting. Dieting shoudln't be a dreadful task. While it may not be a pleasant experience, you can make the best of it. I am currently enjoying my diet, and i'm at roughly 2000 calories/day.

I couldn't do that. When I go on a hardcore cut I pretty much accept in my mind that it's going to suck for a while and restrict myself to only certain foods. If I allowed myself to eat whatever then I would just go out of control, maybe I'm just a pig!
I have to stick to boring and bland diets but after eating them for so long they start to not feel boring or bland haha.

I recently converted to fresh broccoli heads instead of bundles of asparagus. I love asparagus but it's almost 4x as much as broccoli heads.
I eat a full broccoli head in 1 day and a full bundle of asparagus in 1 day. The broccoli head is 99c per head and the bundle of asparagus is 4$ a bundle. The guy at the store told me it wasn't asparagus season right now either and I believe him because the latest bundles I got before I converted for crappy. I do enjoy asparagus more the broccoli though.
I used to put mustard, buffalo sauce, and still use low sodium soy sauce at times. Just converted and stuck on what I think is the greatest creation...Sriracha!

My lean bulk foods and cutting foods are practically the same other than portions. I will cut out most dairy and fruit while cutting though.
I will say, I too am a huge fan of yellow mustard and hot sauce. I literally have become accustomed to eating it on everything. Lettuce, meat, broccoli, etc. I need to cut back a little because my servings of mustard have gotten quite large leading to a lot of excess sodium

I think you misunderstood. I didn't mean that I eat "whatever"; what I meant was that my food choices on a cut are the same (for the most part) as those on a bulk, simply because my bulk food choices are still clean. In other words, I don't allow "whatever' on a bulk any more than I do on a cut. Actually, in a sense I try to be more strict on a bulk since there is no leeway in terms of calories.
^^ exactly

Man I thought it was world wide by now! My buddie sent me a message the other day saying "Dude, I put Sriracha on everything!"
It's asian chili sauce and has a big rooster on the front, some call it "cock sauce" I'll find a pic. At first it took me a bit to get used to it but now I love it!

Yeah 405 I've seen it in with the ethnic foods section at the grocery store. Rather than with the other condiments.

Does it taste any different from all the other chili sauces? Any reason to get this specific brand? Trader Joe's probably carries it...

^^ probably. It's kind of a 'hippie' store... specialty store in a way... but they have some really good stuff that you won't find anywhere else.

It's usually with all the hot-sauces and stuff. I just found it in the condiment section!
Trader Joe's has some crazy hot sauces. My buddie had one called Black Widow I think and it almost made me puke it was so hot, never again. Fun to try out though, I'm not very good with really hot stuff, I get the hiccups even with jalapenos haha!

i went on a cruise in april and we went to cozumel and i went in a shop that sold a bunch of difft hot sauces. i tried several including their hottest which was not too bad IMO! i thought that was pretty good for a white guy to do well with the hottest sauce in a mexican hot sauce shop!
i brought some home and put it on display in my "man cave" some kind of habanero (maybe peach? some kind of fruit )

Nothing brings out a man cave more then a display of brutal hot sauces!
When I was younger we used to collect taco bell trays after we conquered a full grande meal to yourself. You could only take the tray if you finished and we would hang them up in my buddies room lol. I tried this a few weeks ago and didn't even come close!

Daves insanity sauce is some hot stuff. I've personally watched turn a corroded non recognizable penny back to shiny new in just a few minutes. Kinda makes you wonder what it does inside your stomach?
