    peeled white potatoes macros

Okay, I've been getting different numbers from various online sources, and would like someone here to let me know the macros of a peeled, white potato. I'm wanting to alter my current diet plan. I'm trying to hit 90 grams of carbs in one of my meals and according to some sites, I would need 550grams of potato, which seems like a lot! Does this sound right?

Btw, if you've read my past posts, you'll know that I understand more about dieting than the average bear, so no need to tell me that white potatoes are not an ideal source of comples carbs. Call it an experiment...or the fact that I'm so sick of rice, sweet potato, and whole wheat pasta so just want to change it up a bit lol.

Not in the mood right now to post up my whole diet plan, but I will in the near future.

Numbers sounds pretty close to me. Just out of curiosity, why peeled? The majority of 'good stuff' is just underneath the skin... vitamins, etc.

PS - white potatoes are fine IMO.

Haha figured someone would ask me that! Only reason I want to peel them is cuz I want to eat them mashed. Just add a little skim milk, and that's all. While we're on the subject tho, is it ok to mash all my potatoes once a week and keep them in the fridge so I don't have to go through the process everyday, or will they go bad?

They should be fine for a week... I've done it.

PS - I mashed mine and kept the skin within the mash...
