Is a womans diet much different

Hi there, me again ! i have been doing great ever since i have learn alot about nutrition from you guys! I made a thread a while back managed to go from 225lbs to a leaner 190 within my cut. So i have great respect for this place. My question is, i am helping my friend calculate her tdee, etc as she was impressed with my results and want to head on a similar road. My question to you guys is:, is a womans needs much different from a mans in terms of nutrition? i see the formulas are different and less calories but in general would say 60/30/10 diet still good for her to try? mainly protein, carbs when needed, etc?

    Thanks my friends

Is she training, or just dieting? Does she just want to lose 'weight', or is she interested in losing bodyfat and looking good? Adding muscle?

Hi! congrats on your accomplishment!!! Wondering if your bff would be willing to become a member and be mentored by the members of this board, as you did? Then you can cheer her on via this site It is easier for the help to?as direct as possible with her so that she can articulate her goals and answer questions such as posed by GBrice!!!

You are a good friend to be helping her out!
