Well, it does tend to help other members answer your question, when you add a little more background on the subject, perhaps give a few links and so forth to help others address the subject. Also adding information yourself too, height, weight, bodyfat%, age and any other factors, natty or steroids etc... As there is not one cookie cutter nutrition style (diet) that works for everyone.

That being said, I actually was just reading about the renegade diet today, and it really turns out to be very close to what I have already been doing, with only mild variation.

It is in short, Intermittent Fasting, simply with a small change in the eating phase being a little more controlled to include more whole foods and organic meats etc..., also includes a very short phase at the start of eating time, where at first more vegetables are consumed etc... - Overall however, it is simply another way of Intermittent Fasting.

The real benefit, other than the obvious benefits of eating high quality foods, is from the Intermittent Fasting. Jason's method reminds me a lot of the Leangains method, is very similar, and IMHO Interchangable.

I prefer the every day fasting and feast method over the eatstopeat method, which is a fast for 2 to 3 days a week method. I'm not knocking on Brad Pilon however, his method works and has worked for many people. The only reason I don't prefer it is that I find it easier to be adapted to something I do every day, its just mentally easier for me to do.

I’ve been doing a 19/5 IF split, for a while now, with consistent fat loss, and no muscle loss. Actually muscle gain, and this has sped up a lot recently as I am currently not natural. Although I was for the first two months of IF, so I KNOW it works for me natural or not (combining it with testosterone just speeds up/ amplifies results).

Like Brad Pilon I’m not super picky about the quality of foods. Yes I do eat veggies and make sure to get in enough protein (which is not crazy high amounts) but otherwise I do eat food like Pizza, Ice cream, and even cookies. I just do count the calories.

Intermittent fasting is a great way to control caloric intake, as if say you are at a 1600 daily limit while cutting, eating all that in a short space of time will have you feeling really good and full, even though over all you are in a big deficit.

i couldnt post a link because i would be violating copyright, i have read the book and it goes against what all the vets say about diet. like i said it makes sense to me and was wondering what some others might think about this lifestyle of eating. i am currently doing a daily IF of 16 hours with a undereating phase of 4hr after that, i hit my workout and eat up all i want, but not crap. my goal is to take my bf down and gain lean muscle instead of bulking and cutting. thanks
