I find Brown rice is easier for me to cook (microwave) and you can always count on the same portion. while Sweet potato their always different size.

But I eat both as well.

You can also cook a sweet potato in the microwave. Just poke holes in it with a fork and wrap it in a wet paper towel. Cook for like 7 minutes on high, flipping it halfway through. The only problem is that it is bad for the microwave. Mine overheats often and cuts off often... Probably not a good sign.

sweet potato does fine in microwave. poke holes in it with a fork all over, wrap in saran wrap, microwave like 2min then flip and do another 2 mins and chek it.

as far as portions just weigh it raw and then u can basically eyeball where to cut it. if u eat 8oz at a time and have one thats 6oz and one thats 10oz do em both and cut a couple inches off the big one

I wouldn't put another second's thought into it. Both are viable quality carb sources. Just make sure you're eating!

lol I see, I wonder if it would actually cook it and how long it would take? I never tried it tbh, and not intending to either lol.

What I have done is cook it on my goerge forman then put it in my tupper wear and bring it for my lunch. Never wrong with that right?

Get a digital scale and weigh in grams. 100g of sweet potato is 21g carbs. I personally find oats/sweet potato to be the 2 best carb sources, with brown rice coming in behind them and low sodium ezekial bread.

If you want a steak, broil it, I'm sure you have an oven.

In a perfect world, yes. but there has been many times i had to microwave a steak and eat on the run. not like you're losing any protein..

Why do you think this? What are you basing this on?
