    sustonon first cycle, I've gained 12lb in my 1st week, but I need help

    I took some advice of a few guys on this site, they told me to -'bump my calories up to 4000 a day while on cycle, I followed this advice, I've gained 12lb in my first week, good news is I gained 8lb of lean muscle, however the bad news is I've also gained 4 lb of fat, do you think I should reduce my calories? /Because to be honest I don't want to end up fat /

    My cycle is 50mg of winny tabs per day wks 1-4
    250mg of sustonon 250 one shot per week wks 1-10

    My stats
    Hight 5,11
    Weight was 12 st 4 is now 13st 2
    Bf was 12.5% now is 14.5% :|

    You haven't gained 8 lbs of muscle LOL.... Nore have you gained 4 lbs of fat I doubt

    You will possibly be holding some water and since you have just gone on gear and bumper up your carbs this is to be expected....

    I really doubt you require 4000 calls to grow though unless you plan to add BF as well as LBM... 3500 would be better IMO

    I get it done every week on a machine. Says my bf is up 4lb and that I've also gained 8lb of mass

    a machine? unless its a ultra sound. its not accurate. 12lbs in a week, a week of running a test blend at 250mg would not give you 8lbs lbm. . water and fat nothing more.

    Im also taking winny 50mg per day, my training and diet is on point, I find with bf machines or tho not so accurate they do tend to tell you how much your fat is going up and down if you use them regularly. I've definitely made some gains I can see around my shoulders!

    8 lbs of lean body mass? do you have any idea how much this is????????????????? GO TO THE GROCERY STORE , go to the meat section and ask the butcher to weigh up 8lbs of boneles skinless chicken breast

    NOw take said bag of chicken breast and look at it very carefully , admire it ... u did not just add this to your body in 1 week from winny

    Well that's what the machine is telling me, it calculates bf and your fat free mass, I check myself on my scales at home also, I have gained good or bad 12lb

    Its not lbm, get a proper caliper test or find a bodpod somewhere. You are holding lots of water is all, you have an ai on hand I hope?

    also u should be posting a thread in the steroid question and answer forum for ur problem. and 12lbs in a week is a problem IMO... but while ur here how bout post up that diet so we can take a look!

    You may have gained 8lbs of LBM..... LBM takes into account anything that isn't fat..... Ie. water, bones etc...

    Of those 8lbs of LBM you may have gained half a lb of muscle if your lucky and the rest is probably water and added food (in your stomach)

    My diet is around 4000 per day 45 protein 45 carbs 10% fat I've been eating alot of cereal to boast my carb intake, I eat around 500g of liver a day (I make it into low fat pate) this is where the bulk of my protein comes from also I eat alot of tuna pasta, beef, chicken, bread, also I've recently been doing a cutting diet so I've gone from 1500 calories to 4000, maybe bit too much too fast!? Im going to cut back to 3400 see how I get on with that

    MY MATH:
    13.2 stone = 184.8lbs
    184.8lbs x .145%bf = 26.77lbs fat
    184.8 - 26.77 =158lbs (LBM)

    BMR = 1918cals
    rough maintenance is LBM x 15 = 158 x 15 =2370cals

    IMO 3000cals should be more than enuff for u dude. i have 180lbs LBM and im bulking rite now at 3200cals and making decent gains (about 2lbs per week)..

    im running 40/45/15 pro/carb/fat

    I posted on here last week an a load of guys where cussing me saying my diet was too low in calories and that I should boast it up to 4000 while on cycle because of increased blood rate or something lol well me gaining bad weight proves that bull shit advice lol

    Thanks for that man, so do you times your LBm by 15 to calculate calories? ! I will give 3000 a go for the next week, I will fill you in on how I get on :-)

    i dont recall seeing u in here last week and would be surprised for anyone to tell u to eat 4000cals at 185lbs with only 158lbs LBM in this section.

    LBM x 15 is a rough starting point for maintenance cals.. i also incorporate BMR to the equation + my experience when trying to guesstimate. bear in mind it is only a guesstimate but a good place to start..

    also how u get on will have to do with a lot more than just eating 3000cals.

    i suggest u post ur diet on here for review!!!

    No it wasn't in this section it was in the steroid Q and A section.

    I sleep and rest play a huge roll, I try to get ten hours a night, and rest as much as possible, my training is on point I follow alot of vicnaturals work out tips on youtube, the dude is amazing, you should check him out if you don't know who he already is.

    My diet consists of wholesale breads, pasta, cereals, liver, tuna, chicken, eggs,beef ect

    8oz chikn, 1/2cup brn rice, green veg

    meal3: (time) cals, macros
    2cans tuna, green veg

    6oz fish, 1/2 cup oats

    total cals: 3450
    300g pro

    I made the mistake of takin sus n deca for years pal ye i went from 12 stone to 16.4 but after evaluating and reserch(bit to late mind) the 8 years of thinkin i was muscle i was blind to think that.i was liftin sum serious weight and only focused on the scales but now after a good pct and time off plus cardio which i pritty much strugled with im at a healthy 14 stone and prity much ripped.ur abbs will tell a story if u have them.all i will sugest is if u stop on sus ur diet like mine now needs to b in chek or like the comments ur gettin u will b holdin a lot of water retension ur prity much defetin the object by takin sus along with winstrol ur eather bulkin or cuttin u cnt do both.12 pound 1 week sorry but even at 750sus 2ml deca a week i never saw nothin like that

    I usually eat fruit and veg but haven't had time to get any in.
    I decided to eat all of my food in just two meals, this way my insulin will only be spiked two times per day, this may help minimize fat gains im thinking ;-)
